About the Role:

Our client, a fast-growing Fintech company, is hiring a Backend Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure server-side applications. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital financial products in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.  

Responsibilities

  1. 1. Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and microservices supporting digital finance platforms.
  2. 2. Integrate secure payment gateways, third-party financial services, and data solutions.
  3. 3. Optimize backend performance, scalability, and system reliability.
  4. 4. Implement best practices for data protection, authentication, and transaction security.
  5. 5. Collaborate with front-end, product, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless user experiences

Requirements

  • 1. 3–6 years of backend development experience.
  • 2. Proficient in Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend technologies.
  • 3. Skilled in containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows.
  • 4. understanding of backend security, encryption, and compliance standards (PCI-DSS a plus).
  • 5. Based in Egypt with the ability to attend hybrid in-office meet

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Exposure to financial transaction platforms or payment systems.
